On The Move

Emily is getting to be more and more like Ethan.  This girl just cannot sit still.  If she's sitting on the ground, she has to have toys by her to grab for.  If she's on your lap, she's constantly moving around...stand up, sit down, reach for the couch, try to grab your shirt or anything that may be on you, etc.  If she's in her high chair eating, she's taking a bite, then lean over the side to try to touch Mom's leg...take a bite, then see if she can get a part of the strap holding her in.

The girl is ON THE MOVE and GRABBY.

We all have to make sure that things are out of her reach if we don't want her touching it.  Along with her constant movement, she has a constant need to grab things.

She's pretty close to crawling already.  She gets on her knees and rocks.  She can reach for toys by sort of scooting her body up.  Most of her movement comes from going backwards, then turning her body, then going backwards again.  So, you can't just set her on the ground anymore and think she will stay put!  We are going to have TROUBLE on our hands when she is officially crawling!

Doing a plank...maybe I should start doing them with her!

And since she's on the move and she's still spitting up quite a bit....it's bed sheet time!    We have to put something down so we don't get little colorful spots all over our carpet.   Or at least it lessens the chances...

And now I must grab...
