Memorial Weekend

Well, we had a very fun Memorial weekend!  We were so happy to spend so much time with Daddy!

Saturday we had the annual Haberberger graduation party.  Each year it is held at a Lake about an hour outside St. Louis.  The kids always have an awesome time playing with their cousins, swimming in the lake and taking boat rides.

Sunday we went our neighborhood pool for the first time this season.  We packed a lunch and were up there for a couple hours.  The kids LOVED it.  I'm sure we will be there most days this summer!  After that, we all took a rest at home.  Then, we ran a couple errands and then got some mexican food for dinner!  Nice and relaxing.

Monday was a packed day.  The kids got up really early, so it was one of those days that Brian and I kept looking at our watches and saying, "Is it 9 am already??"  The kids were up around 5:30 am.  we did breakfast and then Brian and I got some stuff done around the house that we needed to do.  After Emily's morning nap, we loaded everyone up for a picnic at one of the state parks by our house.  It was a breezy day and we knew there was a big open field by the playground there, so we brought our kites!

We played kickball, ate a picnic, played on the playground, played frisbee and took a walk on a trail.  Whew.  All that in about 2 hours time.

We were home by noon.  Again....is it noon ALREADY?  We felt like we had a full days activities!

When we got home, we all took it a little easy.  Ethan did his Perler Beads, of course, Abby played with her My Little Ponies, and Emily took a nap.  When Emily got up, we did an early dinner and then we were off to the pool!

We packed in a lot of fun this weekend!  Brian gets on a plane tomorrow for the rest of the week, so we were happy to get so much FUN time with him!
