Ethan's birthday party

This year, we decided to scale back Ethan's birthday party.  We just did my side of the family, but it was so much fun and so much more laid back. 

In the morning, Ethan helped me bake his cake

And decorate it.

Grandma and Grandpa came over first so we took pictures with them.

After the Haberbergers got there, we ate Chicago style hot dogs from one of Ethan's favorite restaurants, Surf Dogs.    After playing for awhile, we opened gifts.

We got him a morph suit.  Ethan is in the blue and Sam is in the green.  It was pretty hilarious watching them dance around in those things.

Then it was cake time!  Dad put trick candles on his cake, so it took awhile to blow out!

Then, some people got a little sleepy and needed their afternoon naps...

After a good rest, it was time to get all the presents out and play!!

It was a great day!  Ethan had so much fun and really loved all his presents and the time spent with family.
