First Fall Weather Weekend

We had some AWESOME weather this weekend and we took advantage of it!

Saturday morning we went to the Clayton Art Fair.  We go to this every year with the kids and love it.  It's so interesting to look at all the vastly different art.  They also have a kids area where the kids get to do some art of their own.

 After spending a couple hours there, we went home to rest for a bit.  Then, we walked up to a Mexican restaurant by our house to sit on the patio and eat some dinner.  Of course, afterwards we walked to the Coldstone Creamy for dessert afterwards!  We walked home, then went to bed!

Sunday the boys got to go to the baseball game because Brian got some free tickets from work.  Their tickets were in the upper deck, but they won some kind of raffle and got tickets in section 171 in the second row!!  They watched batting practice, got LOTS and LOTS of baseball food and Ethan even did the batting cages.  The dream trip to the ballpark for a little boy!

The only problem was that Daddy forgot to put sunscreen on Ethan....

Since the boys got a fun guys day out, me and Abby had a girls evening out when they got home.  We went to get pedicures!  Abby LOVED doing this with me before our California vacation, so I thought it would be a fun treat again.  I let her pick out the color for us to have matching toes.  After that we went to IHOP for dinner b/c Abby's favorite food is pancakes!

 The best surprise of the day??  UNCLE ERIC!  Eric was in town for a training session and stopped by our house!   Just his presence seems to make the kids act crazy!!
