Ethan's first field trip

Ethan had his first class field trip to Ekert's Farm to pick apples.  My mom came over to babysit the girls, so I could be a parent volunteer and go with him.  We had so much fun!  It was great to see Ethan interact with his friends and to see some of the kids he talks about a lot.

These were the kids I was in charge of.  All very sweet....even though one of them did run away screaming from me because she didn't want to go watch a pumpkin being shot out of a cannon.  

The first thing we did was to ride a tractor to pick apples.  Each kid got to fill a little bag up which they thought was really cool.   After that we got to do all the farm activities.
