A couple days after Christmas we attempted to get out to CA for Christmas but the travel gods were against us. We spent 9 hours in the airport trying to make flights but in the end it just didn't work. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip.
A couple days later, after recouping from that rough day, we decided to lift the kids spirits by going on another St. Louis day!
First stop was the Science Center which is always full of fun exhibits. Abby even got to be a volunteer in a science show we watched. Next stop was the History Museum. They have a whole new kid area that we had not been to yet, so the kids had a really good time exploring that. Last stop was the art museum! It had been a really long time since I had been there. We didn't spend too much time because the kids were really tired at that point, but it was fun walking around and hearing about some of the things the kids have learned about in school.
Another jam packed fun day for us over winter break!
