Our sweet Abigail is 7 years old now! What a year it has been for her. She started going to school full days this year. It was a bit of an adjustment for her in the beginning but soon she was rocking 1st grade. She continues to be an awesome reader and writer, reading books that are a grade level ahead. She's also great at math, although she tells us her favorite subject is art!
She continues to do Daisy girl scouts and bridged over to Brownies this year. She also has continued gymnastics and practices that once a week.
Our little girl is full of lots of emotions! She has a feelings journal at school and at home to write down what she is feeling whether it's happy, sad or frustrated. Her heart is so big and caring. She was the first person to help me when my ankle was broken, she doesn't mind helping others when they are sick and she's always willing to give a hug to help make people feel better.
She still sleeps with TONS of animals in her bed. They all have very special spots that get decided each night.
One of her talents is doing different accents. Our favorite is her cockney accent. It's fairly hilarious to hear her do that.
Her and Emily have become good friends. They play together a lot and sing a song ALL THE TIME called "Best Friends" that she learned in her school play this year. Not to leave out Ethan. Sometimes the two of them get into some amazing pretending games that go on forever. I love hearing their imaginations!
And, of course, her sense of style is still strong! She puts together great outfits for herself all the time!

After a fun day of activities, we celebrated with Dad at home. Her big present this year was roller skates! She saw a commercial for them and just HAD to have them.
Later that evening, Brian got to take the kids to the Butterfly house for a special firefly display and activities. The kids had a great time staying up late and seeing THOUSANDS of fireflies.
And then finally, later that week when Inside Out came out, we took Abby and a few of her friends to see it on opening night. Lots of fun for this birthday girl!
