Since the year is almost over, I didn't want to forget to write about this funny story. At the midterm her gym teacher wrote a comment that was kind of hilarious if you know Abby. She's a strong willed girl who doesn't like a lot of "sporty" activities. His comment was:
Abigail continues to improve her overall participation in class. Abagail has had some instances where she just lays down and will not participate during class. I know this will improve as she increases her endurance.
HA! I love that he put a postitive spin on the end. However, apparently things have changed because just the other day, Abby's teacher wrote me the following story:
So
apparently they were playing a game in a big rectangle where you have
to run to the other side without being tagged by anyone. Well, they put
the girls in the middle to be the taggers and the boy were the runners.
When the Ed (PE teacher) yelled “GO!” to the boys for them to run, not
one of them moved…there was silence and then you hear Abby yell, “COWARDS!”
(not in a mean way but playfully)!! HAHAH When Ed told me that story we
were both dying with laughter…and all he said with a big smile was,
“that girl has got personality coming from everywhere!”. (He just loves
her and gets the biggest kick out of her!)
So hopefully her end of year grade will be better!
