The other night Brian and the kids found a "secret path" to the lake in our neighborhood. The other day when my mom was here, she watched Emily while the kids showed me where to go. Ethan knew exactly how to get there and even warned me when there was a part of the walk where we had to walk in the street when the sidewalk ended.
I can tell we will be making this walk a lot. Not only is it fun to walk through the forest to get there, but then there are all kinds of fun animals to see. In our 20 minute walk we saw bunnies, squirrels, fish, dragon flies, turtles, birds, and even a heron(or what looked to be a heron)!
