Doubling Up
We decided to put the kids in the same room now that Abby is old enough to be in a "big girl bed". Since they are on the same schedule and we do the same things with each of them to put them to bed we thought it would be fun to put them in the same room. It has been a slow process but this weekend we finally got to the point where we could paint. All of their decorations still need to be put up, but we got enough done that we could put their beds together. Grandma and Grandpa gave us a matching set of headboards that Uncle Guy (Kev) and Uncle Mark used as kids.
Abby is EXTREMELY easy to put down to bed, so we were a little nervous that we might disturb that.....well, it didn't even phase her! She went right to sleep by herself and slept the entire night in the bed without crying once!! She likes to sing before she goes to sleep. We heard her in the monitor and we were just waiting for Ethan to say "Abby be quiet!" but he never made a peep either! Eventually, they both drifted off and slept through the night just fine! When I asked Ethan this morning, "Did you like how Abby was singing before you went to bed?" He said, "NO! It was too loud!" So, not sure why he never yelled at her!
Can't believe the kids are big enough to be sharing a room! Amazing how quickly it all goes!
